· The barn is one of a series of ten dollhouses and barns made in the 1980’s.
· It is a classic design sure to become an heirloom.
· The barn was a collaboration of three Berkshire Countyresidents, the late Arthur Brown, Sandra Brown Holzer and John Potter, builder
· The barn is constructed of 3/8” Russian Baltic birch plywood. The birch is very high grade; it contains 6 or 7 layers with no voids.
· Baltic birch plywood is used by fine cabinet makers.
· The table-storage case is constructed from 2” thick clear pine.
· There is a latch on the barn door and the loft doors also open.
· The barn is quick to assemble, sturdy and easy to disassemble with storage in the table that converts to a box on wheels.
· Like old barns, the pieces have Roman numerals carved into the wood to identify the order of assembly and points to match. This was done on the beams of old barns.
